Lunch-On-The-Go
The Full Story
Lunch-On-The-Go provides students with opportunities to purchase monthly lunches at a fixed price from local vendors.
In the past, we set the cost at a uniform rate (~$10) to account for fluctuating vendor costs and allow for a profit to go to school as a fundraiser.
However, we now have varying prices to make purchasing more accessible, while still operating at a profit to assist the school.
Benefits

Fundraiser for school programming (typically quite successful)- school gets approximately 0.50-3.50 per meal, depending on profit margins. But children also get a lunch and parents have one less thing to do that morning

Approx $4-$6,000 per year.

Work with other parents and school staff as a team

Kids are usually quite delighted for a fun and different lunch

Marketed as a choice, kids and families can opt in or out. Anywhere from approximately 180-300 orders per lunch
